Director of Candlestar, an international cultural consultancy with an outstanding reputation within photography. Candlestar produces the Prix Pictet the internationally renowned photography prize in sustainability. Candlestar has been responsible for over 70 Prix Pictet exhibitions in 35 countries over the last 6 years. Fariba is also the co-founder and director of Photo London, a major international photography fair, which had its successful inaugural edition at Somerset House, in 2015.
Photographer and social anthropologist. He’s the winner of the National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest 2015. His work has been published in Wired, Conde Nast, Travel and Leisure, Practical Photography, National Geographic Traveler, 30 degrees, My Modern Met, Sputnik and many other magazines around the world. He also contributes with his photography in different conservation projects focused on the protection of sea life and underwater habitats.
